Advanced Carbon Fiber Composites

Advanced Carbon Fiber Composites

Need lightweight, high-strength components? Our carbon fiber fabrication services combine traditional composite layup techniques with precision CNC machining. We work with prepreg, wet layup, and vacuum infusion processes to create parts with exceptional strength-to-weight ratios.

From aerospace brackets to automotive body panels and racing components, we handle mold fabrication, layup, autoclave curing, CNC trimming, and finishing. Our expertise includes complex geometries, sandwich structures, and hybrid metal-composite assemblies.

Prepreg & Wet Layup

Hand layup with prepreg or wet resin infusion for optimal fiber orientation and resin content.

Autoclave Curing

Controlled temperature and pressure curing for maximum strength and minimal voids.

CNC Machining

Precision trimming, drilling, and edge finishing of cured composite parts.

Custom Tooling

In-house mold and tool fabrication for complex shapes and production volumes.

All carbon fiber parts undergo visual inspection, dimensional verification, and non-destructive testing where required. We provide material certificates, cure cycle documentation, and mechanical test data on request.

4 Steps to Carbon Fiber Parts

From design to finished composite parts—we manage the entire fabrication process including tooling and quality control.

Our engineers review your design for fiber orientation, ply layup sequence, and core selection to optimize performance.

Carbon Fiber FAQs

Everything you need to know about composite materials, processes, and lead times.

We fabricate with 2×2 twill weave, plain weave, unidirectional (UD) prepreg, and dry fabric with epoxy or vinyl ester resins. Common weights: 200gsm, 300gsm, and 400gsm. We also work with aramid (Kevlar), fiberglass, and hybrid laminates.

Carbon fiber composites typically achieve 5-10× the strength-to-weight ratio of aluminum and 3-5× that of steel. Specific properties depend on fiber type, resin system, layup orientation, and laminate thickness.

We offer prepreg hand layup with autoclave curing (best for aerospace), wet layup with vacuum bagging (cost-effective for prototypes), and vacuum infusion (good for larger parts). Process selection depends on part size, volume, and performance requirements.

Yes! We CNC machine cured carbon fiber parts with specialized tooling and dust extraction. Services include edge trimming, hole drilling, countersinking, and surface finishing. We also install threaded inserts and bonded metal fittings.

Tooling: 1-3 weeks depending on complexity. First article: 2-4 weeks including layup, cure, and machining. Production runs: 3-6 weeks depending on quantity and finishing. Rush service available for critical projects.

Aerospace (UAV components, brackets), automotive (body panels, interior trim), motorsports (aero parts, chassis components), marine (hulls, masts), and sporting goods (bicycle frames, hockey sticks).
